A beautiful simple shot with great impact through being so minimalist. I don't see that this one fits in with your theme as much as some of the others do, but it's a wonderful shot on its own!
Very,very cool composition, love the way one whole quarter of the shot is segregated from the rest, especially with the bold brass knocker dominating the opposite quadrant.
Stunning in its simplicity yet it has enormous impact. The grain of the wood is beautifully clear also the shadow.

ReplyDeleteTake the knocker off and this door is the same as the one to my bedroom. Same grain, same bevel. :-)
